I’ve been really busy with everything it seems X3 I’m working really hard on getting things ready for Anthrocon. I’ve got a dealers table this year…so I’m REALLY nervous about it. I had the intentions of updating the Nightshift comic this week, but things came up, my mom bought me a T-shirt screener thing. I made a couple of shirts. I’ll probably make a few more before the con….. just trying to think of really cool designs. Hmmmm… don’t know.

I’ve also be sewing a plushie of one of my characters that I plan on selling at Anthrocon. I’m gonna try and make two. But here’s what it looks like so far. Whoever can guess who this will be, gets virtual cookies XDDD I have to buy fabric paint to finish the eyes, face and spots.

After the convention, I am going to try my best to get back into updating regularly. X3

Hey Everybody. I should had mentioned this last week, but I will sort of be taking a break from the comics, for the Christmas Season. So, no updates this Monday or next. The comics will resume updating on January 5, 2009.

2009, can you believe it? I am 30 years old today….wow. LOL… but I don’t feel thirty, so it’s all good….especially when I have younger folks around me to keep me feeling young. A younger high school girl that goes to my church, is REALLY into similar things that I’m into. Jeff had mentioned to her that I loved the movie Labyrinth, you know the one with Jim Henson muppets and David Bowie? Well, she rented it and tried it out and ended up buying the movie and the soundtrack. She even gave me a copy of the soundtrack, which is totally awesome X3 So, now I am in this big Labyrinth, Jerith the Goblin King high. And I did not know that there was a Manga series that the Jim Henson company had began called “Return to the Labyrinth”. Where Jerith goes back for Toby when he’s a teen. I’m going to be buying those….someday. I can’t help but think of how awesome it would be for them to make that into a movie….but then I think of them screwing it up and not using David Bowie and replacing the muppet goblins with CG.

Ok….so I may be producing some Labyrinth art soon…a gift to the girl who has got me full force into it again ^_^ Merry Christmas Everyone!

LOL… that’s right, Caje just got his face blown off. And yes, bullets can be a problem for my vampires. Depending on where they get lodged at. Anything that goes through the brain, can cause the vampire to lose consciousness for a while….until their body has healed the damaged area. And how long it takes for a vampire to heal all depends on how much mortal blood they have had prior to the damage.

So…you see, Cajun is now unconscious ^_^ UNTIL NEXT FOLKS

Caje finally gets a bite >:3 Heh, heh…I hope everyone had a good Halloween. We did. Cass dressed as a Honey Bee, she was so cute. I’ll have to get some pictures of her costume up soon. Hmmm, not too much else is going on. Mmmm, I put some donation buttons up on the left hand side of each comic page. I’ve never really asked for donations before… There is one button that has a goal for getting a new wallpaper…the other is for a new poster page illustration….if you feel inclined to donate, please do. You won’t believe how much it will help out <:3 I may figure out a better way to set up donations, with better rewards…if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to suggest ^_^ Thanks.

Yeah, I know it’s a few days early, but here ya go! I had quite a bit to do this week and even though I did get the Nightshift comic finished, I felt that it would be best to wait till next Monday to post it, when I have Starfire Agency finished as well. Everyone, have a Happy Halloween!!!!! ^_^

The Johnson County Apple Festival was this weekend. I almost forgot all about it. That’s where I was this weekend. Some of you may know, I had wrecked my car this last week…slippery road plus guard rail…yadda, yadda…we are ok ^_^ But with all the insurance calling, adjuster stuff, looking for a new car, buying one, trying to catch up on RL job, decorating for Halloween and enjoying myself at the festival with my family….I couldn’t get the comics finished. So, here is some art….Cajun and Travis are hanging around at the Johnson County Apple Festival…probably looking for trouble, no doubt. They are sitting on “the wall”…which is usually a meeting spot for the high school students.

Next week the comics should be up on on Monday ^_^ Have a great day all.

The delivery truck dude was named after the character, Dale, from King of the Hill…he is only a random character that needed a name and I just happened to be watching King of the Hill… not to mention, my husband’s uncle’s name XD And… the song…Tuesday’s Gone with the Wind…a great song, by Lynyrd Skynyrd. ^_^ Never heard it? Oh…also…Hareforce is up!

Caje has nothing better to do right? So, he’s gonna have some fun and hopefully not get caught while he’s at it.

Got a bit of art done this week. I’ve got a head start on next weeks Nightshift as well as Hareforce and Starfire Agency. And yes, there is a Hareforce up this week! Gonna try my best to get something each Monday for Hareforce!

Cars can be so fun to draw ^_^ By the time I’m finished with these next few pages, I should be able to draw a Mustang with ease. I really like how this page turned out too….oh and the dude in the last panel, his hair was spiked way before he sees the Mustang heading towards him ^_^

Er, yeah… I’m eating lots of sugar. Okie, Nightshift this week… Travis shows that kid who’s boss…or did he? Yeah right Travis, I like to torture you! And the last panel will get us back to Caje. I didn’t really know how to spell the sound a car makes when it skids around the corner. Ah, oh well. XD

MFM was pretty cool, I met some pretty neat people, that I hope I see again. I do plan now to attend Anthrocon 2009 in Pittsburg. And I plan to get a dealers table as well as a have a bit more stuff to sell XD I plan on getting these issue 2’s ready, withine the next couple months actually. It’s a bit harder now that my ibook died -_- Cause with my ibook, I could always take my work with me. So, I’m going to have to raise money, and I gotta plan that I mention later…when I get things ready.

I want to go ahead and put money towards a Mac PowerBook… preferably a 15″ (Would love a 17″ LOL… but, a 15″ would me much better then my 12″ ibook). I plan on getting it brand spanking new…because I want the warranty and such. Bought my ibook used : P It was good though, it lasted 4 years. Why Mac? I did consider just getting a Windows PC…..but all my programs are for Mac… I don’t want to re-buy all my software.

Movies I watched lately. Watched The Care Bear movie 2 today XD An old favorite from my childhood. Cass totally enjoyed it and I sung along with every song…I’m a goober. The animated Chipmunks Adventure….let’s see, I’ve watched it, I think 4 times this last week. Listen to the soundtrack in the car daily…Heh, I don’t care how many times I hear that song, “We are the Girls of Rock n Roll” I still enjoy it XD I’m going to have to get that movie on DVD, cause that old VHS tape of mine is REALLY looking bad.

OK, Non-Cartoon movies…ummmm…My sis bought the Dark Crystal and Ewoks… heh, both movies from my childhood. Cass watched the Ewoks with me and kept calling them bears. And she was afraid of the giant, oh, and the monster in the tree that grabbed Mace’s hand. Watching it wasn’t the same though. We had that Ewoks movie recorded on a VHS along with every commercial on the ABC network XD My favoritecommercial was a McDonald’s one where all these Chicken McNuggets were dancing and singing around pools of Sweet Sour Sause, Hot mustard and Bar B Q. And, since I’m alllll hyper, I’ll sing/type the commercial…. ::Sings:: Dip, Dabble, Dabble, Dip Dunk, McDonalds Chicken McNuggets… We love dippin’ ourselves in BarBQ, Sweet Sour Sauce, Hot Mustard too, It’s a good time for the great taste of McDonalds, Dip, Dip, Dun! Who else remembers that? XD

I bought ink this weekend for my printer…it’s been out for almost a year. I thank the MFM monies to pay for it. EPSON printers cost a lot, but they are so good, they have this deal now…At best buy, for every 2 cartridges of ink you buy, you get ten dollars of EPSON printing paper. What a sweet deal! Cause like I have to buy 6 seperate cartridges for that printer at $13 each.

Heh, I also bought a Snoopy shirt… I love that dog. ^_^
